When you buy anything in the UK a contract is formed between the buyer and seller. It is formed as follows:-

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit/debit card payment.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

We only ship within the UK to prevent fraud, for credit card purchases we only dispatch goods to the card holders registered address. However deliveries can be arranged to an alternative address provided that prior to delivery we receive by fax or email verification of the cardholders registered address by means of a copy of a recent utility bill, driving licence or similar official document.

Shipping And Handling Small items will be dispatched at a charge of £3.50

Cameras will be charged at a rate of £7.99. These prices include the VAT and insurance. Unfortunately due to high Courier costs we are unable to deliver to Ireland.

Shipping outside the United Kingdom is only avialable through Bank Transfer and carries a delivery charge of between £18- £24 depending on the location.
Delivery Schedule If the goods you order are in stock, we will deliver your order right away. Memory cards and accessories are sent via Royal Mail first class recorded/special delivery unless purchased with a camera and are then sent together via a courier. We post these items on Mondays , Tuesday , Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Cameras however, get dispatched using a courier service. They are dispatched the same day providing the order is received prior to 1pm. Orders after that time may get dispatched but this is not guaranteed.


All deliveries classed as "next day" mean next working day and are subject to stock availability and delays in the postal service. If a delay has occurred you can contact us on and we can supply you with a reference number or chase up delivery on your behalf. We cannot however take responsibility for the couriers if the goods are dispatched on time.

To achieve next day delivery the order must be placed and pass credit checking procedures by 4.30pm. Orders placed on a Friday should be delivered Monday. Orders placed on a Saturday should be delivered Tuesday. If you live in a remote area of the UK or on an off-shore island you order may take an extra day.

Expensive and heavy items such as cameras will go by courier.
These should arrive next day any time up to 5:30pm.

Lighter but high value items may be shipped next day royal mail special delivery.
They should arrive next day by 1pm in most cases. They may sometimes deliver on a Saturday but this isn't usual.

Other items may be shipped 1st class recorded delivery.
These should arrive within 1-2 days.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. You will not be charged for any orders which are not in stock unless agreed before hand.
Tax Charges Unlike other internet camera stores operating outside the UK, all VAT is included in the cost of the goods. You will therefore not encounter any unexpected VAT charges when the goods are delivered.
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

By law, when buying at a distance you are allowed 7 days from receipt of goods in which to change your mind. This may be because you made an impulse buy or simply chose the wrong item.
It is not a "try before you buy period". All sealed items should be returned unopened and fit for sale as new, we will then be happy to offer an immediate full refund. If they are not we will be unable to take the goods back.

Postage costs are non-refundable and all refunds are liable for the 1.9% credit/debit card surcharge.

You are responsible for your own shipping cost to send products back. You should make sure you use a postal service that you can prove we have taken delivery, with sufficient isurance for the value of the goods. We cannot accept liability for any goods which do not reach us.


If a product becomes faulty in the first 12 months of ownership it is repaired under the manufacturers 12 month warranty. This will involve returning the product back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

Internet Cameras Direct is always happy to intervene on a customer's behalf if they have any difficulty in getting a manufacturer repair. You can send your product back to us within the first 12 months but we only send it on to the manufacturer so it's quicker if you go direct.

The guarantee may become void if the equipment has been impacted, dropped, affected by liquids, and or moisture, tampered with or affected by chemical/battery corrosion or leakage. In rare cases where the item is uneconomical to repair the manufacturer may replace the item, or if discontinued, replace with the nearest model.

We recommend you keep your camera box and packaging and either send your warranty card in or keep it to hand as these are usually required. You will also need proof of purchase which is the invoice we provide on the outside of your delivery container. We can provide a duplicate invoice if it becomes lost but there is an administration and postage charge of £5.
