Olympus's famous 'Tough' range has gained yet another model with the launch of the Olympus TG-810, a 10m water-proof, 2m drop-proof, -10 degrees freeze proof and 100kg crush proof compact camera. With a 5x optical zoom and 14MP sensor the TG-810 of capturing the action as well as surviving it. Much like previous Tough models the Olympus TG-810 is built for a variety of inhospitable environments, and now even offers GPS to log the location once the images are taken. There's also the ability to shoot in 3D via a single-lens method which layers images to produce the three dimensional effect. 720p high definition video is also available, as is Tap control which allows the sides of the camera to be struck in order to access certain features. The 3in LCD screen should making framing an image straightforward, and the automatic underwater white balance will remove any colour casting when submerged.
